Politeness and More New Features

Just in time for autumn, our two new product features went live. With memoQ, a new member joins our CAT tool family. Using it, you can also try out our second new feature: determining politeness (du or Sie) for German as the target language.

memoQ Plugin Now Available

A new plugin has been added to our existing CAT tool range: In MemoQ, one can now also translate securely and efficiently with Textshuttle. You don’t need to install a new memoQ version – just download our plugin, install it and get started! In our User Manual you will soon find a guide – until then you will find all information about memoQ on your website.

Determining Politeness in German

Good news for everyone who translates into the target language German: Since 1 October 2021, the politeness used in the target text (du or Sie) can now be predetermined. This is done either via the Cockpit if you want to translate in the CAT tool, or in the Translation Interface if you want to translate in your web browser. The feature has been released for German at the moment, but more target languages will follow next month. Click here for our release notes.
